Background and Challenge
Comstor needed to make a big splash at their 2015 and 2016 partner roadshows. In this highly competitive space competing distributors and suppliers were attending trade shows with sales teams equipped with dry collateral and canned sales pitches. Comstor wanted to push the envelope and introduce their EDGE program in a highly engaging, technology-forward way.
Together with Comstor, we helped craft the roadshow experience and goals: build a discovery based booth experience for prospects that educated, inspired, and helped generate new business. This entire experience built on user driven technology such as multi-touch, interactive presentations, augmented reality, social media, and touch tables.
This experience would give the Comstor brand a strong sense of technology leadership, helping separate themselves from the competition. The business intelligence and analytics behind each experience would help qualify new prospects and provide a warm and welcoming follow up for Comstor’s business development managers.
Comstor’s marketing team wanted to stay within the guidelines of their corporate identity, while infusing vibrant, technology inspired visuals. Our design experts created content that balanced rich media and messaging to ensure users were engaged and actively learning throughout the experience.

Out of the hand full of roadshows that would soon commence, the impact of the interactive Comstor EDGE experience was immediately felt after the very first show. Prospect clients were immersed in learning about Comstor’s technology solutions and the added benefits of being a Comstor reseller. Following each show, FLX Interactive was able to provide analytics and data around specific solutions that each user was interested in learning about.
